His favorite city to play is Detroit, because it's where he grew up.

The one thing he needs most while touring is his cell phone, to keep up with family and friends

He has 2 dogs, Bo and Harley, and resently got a new puppy, Max.

Tremonti admits to a certain level of basic spirituality in the lyrics, but he insists he doesn't believe in organized religion, citing as preposterous the idea that millions of Muslims are denied an afterlife because they don't believe in Jesus.

Tremonti doesn't mind the Pearl Jam association, but thinks anyone who hears a resemblance should be fitted for a hearing aid.

Tremonti says he has ceased caring about what anyone has to say about his band, whether it's critics, Durst or VH1's recent ``Pop Up Video'' program, which claimed Stapp wanted to seem as messianic as possible in the group's ``Higher'' video. ``Nothing can affect me too much anymore,'' he said. ``They can `pop up' whatever the hell they want.''

He has a Signature PRS Guitar with his name on the 12th fret.

He loves to play video games and his favorite game system is the PC.

He loves to play pinball and collects pinball machines.

Once at a Creed show, his amps blew up, and he was forced to plug into former bassist Brian Marshall's amps.

Tremonti means "Three Mounts" in Italian, and that is the name of his brother's graphic company.

His favorite song to play live is "Unforgiven"

He writes some of Creed's lyrics.

His first band was called "Wit's End" and they played covers

He used to play Gibson Les Paul's in concert but he plays PRS exclusively.

Mark wishes he had written Metallica's "The Call of the Ktulu" himself!

Some of his favorite movies are Clockwork Orange, The Wall, and Excalibur.

Mark Quotes

"We are very excited about the new material and going back into the studio with Kurzweg. The band can't wait to return to the road to play the new songs live for our fans."--about the new album

Tremonti recalls getting pulled over by the police soon after he got his driver's license and the now-obscure group Tora Tora was playing on the car radio. "I remember thinking, 'If Tora Tora got caught speeding in their Porsches and Ferraris, they wouldn't get a ticket!' It was all just being naive." --on becoming famous

"I love meeting little kids after shows who are the way I used to be growing up. I remember meeting Dave Mustaine of Megadeth when I was in seventh grade. It made me so happy just to shake his hand and to be able to do that with some kid now is pretty cool."

"It's not even a temptation. I'm very healthy and I feel good. The last thing in the world I could do if I was on tour is get into drugs, I couldn't perform. My six string would turn into a nine string."

"We all have different visions about where we wanted to take our careers, and it's just like the ex-girlfriends you ever had; you can't really pinpoint it. He just wanted different things." --about Brian Marshall's leaving Creed

"You have to think - what would make you go out of your way to make a Web site about something? To do something like that, you would have to be head over heels for some chick, or be a die-hard fan of whatever the subject was. When Creed is one of the top things in someone's life, that's an incredibly big compliment."

"Scott's lyrics definitely come from a spiritual source; he had to read the Bible and tell his parents what he thought about it when he got in trouble growing up. But the last thing I thought I'd be in was a Christian band," Tremonti said.

"We were the hardest thing when we came out!"

"PRS rules, man"

"Whats this life for is probably our most basic song but its the biggest pain in the ass to play live."
"I hate picking all of the individual fucking strings!" "All the attention is on me, and if I miss one note,
it's all downhill!"

"I like to make my guitar sound mean."

(The songs are) "all my children, can't like one better than the other."

"All I do is relax and rent movies every night. Blockbuster gets all my money." --What Mark does in his free time.
